    Bellvitge University Hospital

    Bellvitge University Hospital was founded in 1976, promotes technological and healthcare innovation and the most complex medical and surgical activity. It is a teaching center linked to the Universitat de Barcelona and studies in Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, and Podiatry. Besides, it is the community reference hospital for 343,172 inhabitants of Hospitalet and El Prat de Llobregat as well as a reference in processes that require high technology.

    Vall d'Hebron University Hospital

    Vall d'Hebron University Hospital is the largest hospital complex in Catalonia and one of the most important in Spain. It is the sum of three hospitals: the General Hospital, the Maternity and Children’s Hospital and the Traumatology, Rehabilitation and Burns Hospital. It is a reference centre for the healthcare area of Barcelona Nord, which includes five districts of the City of Barcelona and a population of over 430,000 people. It also works together with primary care centres in Barcelona and offer specialised services.

    The Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital is a public centre that provides high complexity healthcare to approximately 800.000 people of Barcelona’s northern area and of the Maresme, as well as to people of other Catalan territories with certain pathologies. The hospital is located on the Can Ruti biomedical campus, the Badalona’s health and research park, a biomedical area where other facilities, such as the Institute for Health Science Research Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP) or the Institut Guttmann, are also placed.
