Bellvitge University Hospital was founded in 1976, promotes technological and healthcare innovation and the most complex medical and surgical activity. It is a teaching center linked to the Universitat de Barcelona and studies in Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, and Podiatry. Besides, it is the community reference hospital for 343,172 inhabitants of Hospitalet and El Prat de Llobregat as well as a reference in processes that require high technology.
Vall d'Hebron University Hospital
Vall d'Hebron University Hospital is the largest hospital complex in Catalonia and one of the most important in Spain. It is the sum of three hospitals: the General Hospital, the Maternity and Children’s Hospital and the Traumatology, Rehabilitation and Burns Hospital.
